RTA migrates taxi booking services to Hala
Following the successful launch of Hala in September, and the resulting improvements to the taxi user experience, the RTA has announced all Taxi Booking and Dispatch services will be transferred entirely to Hala as of 7 December 2019.
It heralds a shift from the interactive voice response system for booking Dubai Taxis, to the smart Hala e-hailing system on the Careem application.
What’s in it for new customers?
Hala customers will be able to get a booking confirmation in less than 10seconds, get a taxi in an average of 3.5 minutes, and benefit from an enhanced experience with an average quality rating of 4.8/5 stars.
