Hala taxis in Dubai are geolocated and tracked in real time. The minute you request a ride, you'll have all the details of your trip on your screen, including the name and photo of your Captain, their licence plate number, and the trip's duration.

To set up your Careem account, you need to have a valid mobile number and follow these simple steps:

1. Tap "Continue with mobile number" and enter your mobile number.

2. Enter the 4-digit code sent to your number. (You can also request a call if you didn't receive the code.)

3. Create a solid password.

4. Enter your full name, and voila! You’re ready to ride.

On the Careem app homepage, tap on "Hala Taxi."

1. Go to the "Where to?" box and enter your destination.

2. Then, type in your pickup point.

3. If the map already shows where you are and it's correct, then you can go ahead and hit the "Confirm Pickup" button.

4. TOP TIP: Save your most frequented locations (Work, Home, etc.) for faster booking!

Hala Taxi, Hala Max or Hala Kids? Swipe up and down to find the ride that fits your style and needs.

You can choose between cash, cards, Apple Pay or Careem Pay. After that, check the fare estimate, and if you're happy with it, tap the "Yalla" button.

Your Captain’s profile will be displayed on your app with all their details (name, photo and the car’s licence plate number). You'll also get updates about their location as they make their way to you. Once you spot them, hop in and enjoy the ride.
