In 2019, Hala made history as Dubai’s first homegrown e-hailing service, a bold collaboration between Careem and the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA). Together, we pioneered a smarter, more reliable way to move around the city, combining the RTA’s deep industry leadership and expertise & Careem’s world-class technology.
As the first to bring taxis onto an e-hailing platform in the region, Hala set the standard for everyday mobility. What began in Dubai quickly became a movement, inspiring Ras Al Khaimah to adopt Hala in 2020.
In just six years, we’ve grown into the UAE’s go-to mobility brand. Our captains are the backbone of this success, and our customers are the reason we keep raising the bar. Today, we continue to lead with innovation, reliability, and a people-first approach, proud to be Dubai’s own, and committed to moving everyday life forward for the next five years and beyond.
As Hala matured, our identity needed to evolve with us. The uplift reflects who we are today: a confident, established brand rooted in Dubai, yet modern in its outlook. It celebrates our foundations while refreshing our look and feel to signal confidence, maturity, and longevity, without losing sight of our promise to make everyday journeys seamless. This new identity strengthens our position as a trusted mobility partner and sets a new benchmark for service-driven mobility in Dubai.
We’ve refreshed the Hala logo to reflect who we are today and where we’re headed. The familiar rounded shapes remain, but the structure now carries a more mature, confident identity, a true reflection of the trust our customers place in us. We’ve kept our signature blue, a nod to Hala’s early days, while dialing up its vibrancy to mirror the energy of our customers and the cities we serve. It’s still the Hala you know, now with a bolder, more confident expression.
