Step 1:
Download the Careem app and create an account

1. Tap “Continue with mobile number” and enter your phone number.
2. Enter the 4-digit verification code sent to you (or request a call if you didn’t receive it).
3. Set a strong password for your account.
4. Enter your full name, and you’re ready to ride!

Tip: Make sure your phone number is active to receive the verification code smoothly.

Step 2:
Select Your Hala

On the Careem app home page, tap on “Hala Taxi” for Dubai and 'RAKTA Taxi' for Ras Al Khaimah.
This ensures you’re booking with Hala, Dubai & Ras Al Khaima's trusted taxi service.

Step 3:
Enter Your Pickup and Drop-off Locations

1. Enter your pickup and drop-off locations in the boxes provided.
2. Tap “Confirm Pickup” once your locations are set.

Top Tip: Drag the pin on the map to adjust your exact location, and save your frequently visited places (Home, Work, etc.) for faster booking.

Pay your way

We’re also the most flexible when it comes to payments. Choose the option that works best for you:

Step 6:
Track Your Ride in Real Time

Once your ride is confirmed, you can follow your Captain’s journey right in the app:

• See your Captain’s profile, photo, and car license plate number.
• Get live updates on their location as they make their way to you.
• When you spot your ride, just hop in and enjoy the journey.
